Drafts of many Inventory Chapters are now available below for public review and comment. These are reports on existing conditions and trends. Please feel free to submit comments via our webform, via e-mail to tschuster@las-cruces.org, or via post at PO Box 20000, Las Cruces, NM 88004, attn: Tom Schuster. As the project progresses, revisions and final documents will be posted here for review and comment by the public. Check back often for updates!
Vision 2040 Documents
Adopted Scope of Work
The Vision 2040 Scope of Work was approved by City Council and the Board of County Commissioners as part of the contract with peter j. smith & company, and dictates the planning process to be followed and deliverables to be provided to the City and County.
Preliminary Vision Statement, Goals and Objectives
The draft Vision Statement, Goals and Objectives were presented to participants in the Round 2 public hearings the week of May 12th, and are currently accepting comment on it.

These are existing conditions reports and represent baseline data which will inform policies that will be developed as part of Vision 2040. We are currently accepting comments on these drafts.
