Welcome to the Vision 2040 Website!

This site is intended to keep the general public informed about the largest long range planning effort ever undertaken in Doña Ana County, New Mexico – Vision 2040.  Vision 2040 is the first long-range, regional plan to include Doña Ana County and its four municipalities: the City of Las Cruces , Village of Hatch , Town of Mesilla , and City of Sunland Park.  Using the links above, you can find information on upcoming meetings, review draft documents, and leave written feedback. What's New?

Many of the Inventory Chapters (existing conditions reports) are now available for public review and comment. To download copies, visit the Documents page. (Posted 5/5/08)

Complete summary information from the first round of public input meetings (held in March 2008) is now available on the Documents page. This includes composite maps showing all the ideas put forth by meeting participants, as well as their responses to workbook questions. Summary reports of focus group meetings and advisory committee meetings are also available. (Posted 4/29/08)
